The British Institute of Radiology (BIR) is the international membership organisation for everyone working in imaging, radiation oncology and the underlying sciences.
One of the main reasons people join the BIR is because all the members of the team are welcome – radiographers, radiologists and physicists. The BIR welcomes members from all over the world, not just the UK. It is possible to join and participate because much of the education and learning is online.
